Pressed from rain-fed and freshly hand-picked olives, this Extra Virgin Olive Oil is organic, carbon negative and ethically farmed. It comes from family owned, sustainable olive groves, nestled on sun-drenched ancient mountain traces, sheltered by the majestic Els Ports Natural Park and dramatic limestone Cardó Massif.
Made from over one thousand year old olives resulting in strong but very much balanced oil in sweetness, bitterness and spiciness, with medium-high fruity taste, dominated by the aromas of banana skin and jasmine. Perfect for salads, artichokes and white cheeses. Acidity <0,3º
Pressed from morrut olives resulting in rather pungent and spicy but well balanced in sweetness oil with hints of almonds and apples. Very aromatic oil that gives an exquisite final touch to any recipe. Perfect for grilled meats and salads. Acidity <0,3º
All the profits go towards planting and reintroducing native tree species to reforest this beautiful mountain region. This means:
- providing a perfect home for the iberian ibex, golden eagle and a myriad of animal and botanical species,
- capturing more C02 emissions than we put into the atmosphere,
- providing employment on our farm for vulnerable communities struggling to find work in the area.
